Construction technology and acceptance standard for Corrosion Resistant Fiberglass Cloth

1、 Purpose
In order to standardize Construction technology and ensure the anti-corrosion construction quality,This process standard is specially formulated.

2、 Scope
This standard is applicable to the construction and inspection of anti-corrosion coating for pipeline.

3、 Construction preparation

• Technical disclosure
  The site administrator shall provide special training for the construction personnel on the anti-corrosion construction of glass fiber cloth to ensure that the construction personnel master the glass fiber
  Construction process and acceptance standard of cloth anti-corrosion;
• Machine preparation
  (1) Brush, water spoon with measurement, scissors, gloves, scraper, strip, material barrel, material box, high-precision electronic scale
  Angle grinder, mixing electric drill.
  (2) Necessary labor protection articles and construction protection

4.Pipe treatment
Firstly, the surface of the anti-corrosion steel pipe after roughening (sand blasting) treatment shall be cleaned, and the electric spark test shall be qualified.

5.Material preparation

• resin: unsaturated polyester shall comply with the provisions of GB / T 8237, and epoxy resin shall comply with the provisions of GB / t13657
• Other resins shall comply with the provisions of corresponding national standards or industrial standards.
• reinforcing material: FRP reinforcing layer shall be made of glass fiber and its products.
• filling material: quartz particles shall be natural or processed high-quality silica sand with silica content (quality).The water content (mass fraction) shall not be less than 95%, and the water content (mass fraction) shall not be greater than 0.2%. Dry talc powder can also be used.
